An Amish Love

Book Description:  Two of today's most popular genres--Romance and Amish fiction--together in one volume.
"Healing Hearts" by Beth Wiseman: Levina Lapp and her husband Naaman are alone for the first time in 30 years. When Naaman left to visit cousins in Ohio, Levina wasn't expecting him to be gone a year. Now that he's back, will they be able to move beyond this estrangement and fall in love again?
"What the Heart Sees" by Kathleen Fuller: A tragic accident rocks a peaceful Amish community, leaving Ellie Chupp blinded and Christopher Bender's future shattered. But they find love and forgiveness in a place they least expect.
"A Marriage of the Heart" by Kelly Long: Rachel Yoder is tired of her Amish lifestyle and her domineering father's ways. When handsome Joseph Lambert comes back from the Englisch, she lies to force a marriage of convenience, providing the perfect means to escape her father's rule. But Rachel never imagined she'd fall in love with Joseph so quickly or irrevocably.
My Review:  Wow!  three stories in one book!  The first story by Beth Wiseman is entitled Healing Hearts.  In this short story Naaman has left now to return to his wife,Levina, of 33 years!  Why did Naaman leave and when an unknown man comes around looking for Naaman  the gossip mill starts to run and leaves Levina distrustful and full of unanswered questions.  This story was a great story on forgiveness and being true to who you are.
In the short story, What the Heart Sees, Ellie has been in an accident that leaves her with no sight.  After becoming blind her boyfriend leaves too and Ellie feels that she will never have a chance at love because no one wants a blind wife.  After being gone from the community for about 5 years Christopher returns home...broken hearted.  And then perchance he and Ellie meet.  Zowie!  A sweet read of learning to see with one's heart!
The third short story, A Marriage by Heart, was a very interesting story!  Abigail is tired of taking care of her father since her mother's death and Joseph being a newcomer to the community would like to be more involved and accepted by "the people."  Abigail and Joseph make an interesting"trade" but will it last and will hearts be broken?
I loved this three-in-one read.  This book is a grand five star book for those who love romance and the Amish!  This would make a heartfelt gift for Valentine's Day!
*I reviewed this book for Thomas Nelson/BookSneeze*
