If your child enjoys Encyclopedia Brown Mysteries then Concord Cunningham will be a great favorite too. Concord solves mysteries using his trusty Bible and his concordance; hence, his name Concord. The mysteries are short with an answer page for the mystery at the end of the book. Each mystery has to do with something in Concord's life such as school, camping, etc. I would suggest that children ages 8-12 would probably enjoy this book the most. We have read the first book (pictured) and greatly enjoyed solving the mysteries and learning about the Bible at the same time. It's a very ingenious way to get kids to know their Bible. Sort of like, hiding vegetables in cake.
I've also read one of the mysteries before a Sunday School lesson to get the kids attention. A definite 5 stars!
