A reader sent me this recipe and this is the best and fastest cheesecake ever!
Cinnamon Cheesecake Squares
2 containers of Crescent Rolls (You can use lowfat ones)
2 - 8oz. packages of Cream Cheese (you can use lowfat ones)
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
1 Stick of Butter or Oleo
1/2 cup of Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350
Grease a 9x13 pan, roll out one container of the crescent rolls and
place it into the bottom of the pan.
Beat the 2 packages of cream cheese, vanilla, and 1 cup of sugar until
smooth. (You can place the cream cheese in the microwave for 20 seconds
or so to make it easier to handle. Or place on counter for a 1/2 hour
before you start.) Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent
rolls that are already in the pan.
Lay the second container of crescent rolls over the top of the cream
Melt the stick of butter and drizzle it over the top of the second layer
of crescent rolls. (You may think, wow this is alot of butter, but this
is what you need.) Use a spoon or spatula to smooth the butter around.
Mix the 1/2 cup of sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle all of it over
the melted butter.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until top is lightly toasted.
Cool, and refrigerate before serving.
