You Were Made To Make A Difference

You Were Made to Make a Difference
Book Description:  Want to change the world? Did you know You Were Made to Make a Difference?

This adaptation of Outlive Your Life for teens offers practical tips youth can take out into their community to make a difference, plus real-life stories about those who have done just that. Teens learn that God can use them to make a difference right now. He wants to use them today, without waiting for them to be older, stronger, richer, or even more "together." God can use their minds, their spirits, and their hands and feet to make permanent change for His kingdom.
Also included are valuable resources, interesting facts about the needy in the world and how little it takes to make a big difference, and other interactive elements such as journaling opportunities for writing personal ideas and service goals.
Teens will learn that their role in life is bigger than themselves, and that they're not too young to make a difference for God.

My Review:  Max Lucado is a wonderful writer and all that I've read by him has also been a great encouragement to me.  I haven't read Outlive Your Life but was enthusiastic to read this book by Max and his daughter, Jenna Lucado Bishop . . . the teen adaption of Outlive Your Life.
Even though there are two authors who wrote this flowing work of art the book reads smoothly.
All my life I have heard that one life can make a difference and  this book, You Were Made To Make A Difference, is a wonderful, encouraging read for teens and adults alike that encourages us and teens to make a difference through their lives.
This is an easy read.  Please don't let that diminish the God given talents of this duo.  By an easy read this book reads smoothly and with words that touch "the common man."
Teens sometimes feel that their lives just aren't making a difference.  Between school, activities, church and home teens may feel that they are just existing but as this book sates . . . one is never too young to make a difference.
Another great aspect of this book is the valuable resources, interesting facts about the needy in the world and how little it takes to make a big difference, and other interactive elements such as journaling opportunities for writing personal ideas and service goals.
This 5 star book will be on my giving list for Christmas this year for teens in my life.
