My Review: If you're a died in the wool Pride & Prejudice fan then you'll want to read the Austen Series by Debra White Smith. First Impressions is the first book in the Austen Series. Even though the books are loosely based on Pride & Prejudice you'll begin to notice the similarities as soon as you begin page one. This is a modern day romance with the Pride & Prejudice back drop. The story takes place in Texas (yay!) Two men, one lady! Yes, as you can guess sparks will fly . . . some because of attitudes, some because of I-can't-believe-I'm-falling-in-love-denial. Who will win the hand of the lady, Eddi? A great read! I am amazed at how well this series is written. To my knowledge no one else has written a series such as this based on a classic. Each book is a stand alone read but of course you'll want to read them all! Another 10 star read! I know *sigh* I can only give 5 stars....but this a one of those great-tastic reads you'll want to read! over and over and over and over again! But maybe not in the same summer.
